Does anyone know of/has taken a recent tour of Beatle sites in London? Are there any self guided tours of Beatle sites?
London Walks does a couple of Beatles tours
Yes, read The Beatles London by Richard Porter. He guides the Beatles Walks rock tours for London Walks. He’s written a book that covers the sights of Beatles London if you can’t make a London walks tour.

If you try to cross Abbey Road, get a photo and hold up traffic, the locals are going to be very pissed off at you. Its odd that this intersection has not gone to a timed light. By law, a driver has to stop if they see a pedestrian entering the road. How does that work out with 100's of thousands of people a year trying to get selfies? It doesn't. :)
I took the guided walk by Richard in 1993. That's how long he's been doing it. It was excellent.
I took the London Walks Magical Mystery Tour when I was there in December. It was a great tour! It covered a good amount of Beatles sites and gave us the chance to see parts of London that we otherwise wouldn't have thought to explore.

That’s a good point about both the London Walks Beatles tours, there’s definitely a lot of walking because all the sights aren’t together
OP, have you viewed the Abbey Rd webcam? Just looked at it, methinks it could do with another coat of paint!!!

Another vote for LondonWalks. My husband is a huge Beatles fan and loved this tour.
