London arrival timing

I will be arriving LHR at 1525 (3:25pm)....I want to catch a train at Euston ...I would like to take advantage of the early reservation price.
Is the 1723 train from Euston going to be about the right timing. I have walked Kings Cross to Euston before...piece of cake.

Figuring one hour to clear passport control, one hour to take tube to Kings Cross, time to walk to Euston and two hours for slop and delay.

Its all a roll of the dice, isn't it.

Did you mean 17:23 or 7:23 pm? Your post says 17:23 which is less than 2 hours.

But 1525 to 1723 is barely two hours. How do you come up with four?

It is very much a roll of the dice! What if your plane is late 2 hours late?

The short answer is yes. Your timing might work as long as everything else is on time. Will your flight depart and land on time, will you be able to deplane immediately, how many other flights will be arriving at the same time, etc. I’ve sat on the plane for 45 minutes waiting for the busses to take us to the terminal. There was also one time when it took 1.5 hours to get through passport control. If you feel comfortable with all the possibilities, purchase the ticket.

If two hours, absolutely not -- if it is four, it is possible if everything clicks.

I wouldn't put any money on getting through passport control in one hour, nor on your flight being on time.

I personally always plan on 90-120 minutes before walking through the frosted glass door.

Even at 4 hours I think that your timings are tight.

IF your plane is on time , IF passport control is not mobbed, IF there is no disruption in Tube service.....

How many "IFS" are you comfortable with?
