For the second time in a few months, problems have cancelled London flights. This could be a good reason the acquire an ETA even if you are just transiting through an airport to an ongoing flight

Many times border agents tend to exercise leniency to passengers whose journeys were affected by such delays or cancellations.
Pretty frustrating that this keeps happening, though. British airports and crises don't mix, especially when no backup plan is in place.
