Lodging in London 3 nights?

Any recommendations on B&B for 2 senior adults 70 years and up. Quiet, clean, and safe.
October 10, 11, 12, 2017. Near British museum? Or any other suggestions.
Thank you
Charlotte

I've PM'd a recommendation. Not by the British Museum but quiet, clean and safe.

We stayed right by the British Museum- The Montague On the Gardens. It is a small hotel that was very nice and had a lovely breakfast. Very walkable area. We would highly recommend it.

I always stay at the Jesmond Dene on Argyle St a couple blocks from Kings Cross station. I walked very easily thru Russell Square to get to the British Museum.
The small hotel is more of a B&B, but I have stayed there numerous times - wonderful full English Breakfast (extra fee), but certainly fills you up.
There is a metro station under Kings Cross and on Metro, you can get to just about anywhere.
Happy Travels...

Pax Lodge, the World Asociation of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts' lodge, is right on bus route 24 (which goes to most all major sights, or connects to them easy) which is quiet, has an elevator, and cheerful, honest Girl Scouts working there. My daughter and I volunteered there for a couple of months back in 2011, and the facilities and services have improved a lot since then.

It has a dining hall in the building too, breakfast comes with the stay, and a pub right around the corner. Also has bus route 268 that goes to Waterloo. Buses are the way to go, I have longtime pain issues, so there are no escallators, excessive walking, tube drama. Just walk to the corner and step on the bus.
