Local guide for Guernsey Island

Hello
I’m wondering if anyone has used and could recommend a local guide on Guernsey Island. I see there are quite a number of accredited guides, but it would be helpful to have someone’s recommendation. Or maybe someone has Rick’s book that offers suggestions for a guide to choose. Thanks

We went to Guernsey on a cruise and just did our own tour. We did make reservations for an English tour at victor Hugo’s home! Hauteville house. It was quite interesting and not too long a tour.

I live in Guernsey and know alot of the guides, if you want to direct message, I can try and help.. Alot of them specialize in certain areas. I dont think we feature in any RS guide books?
Victor Hugos house is amazing, but you must prebook and it is all done as a tour alternating in English then French. It is incredibly popular, especially since its major resortation a few years ago.
The tourists are back and is lovely to see our visitors!

I went to Guersney in 2019 and stayed for a week in the St. Martin's Parish area in a cottage. We took two tours. We really enjoyed this tour https://www.tourguernsey.com/ and then we did a photography tour which ended up just being us two, so I felt like we had a private guide. His name was Mark but I can't recall the company name. We all met at St. Albert's pier in St. Peter's port. We did the island all by bus and it worked out well, but there will be some areas that are better reached by car. We just so enjoyed our vacation in Guersney. The locals are so friendly and we felt the safest anywhere we have ever been.

You will like it - and if the weather is good you can go to Sark or Herm.
