Anyone have a recommendation for hotel in Liverpool (other than the obvious Hard Days Night Hotel)?
If anyone has stayed at the HDNH, was it worth it?? We will be there over a weekend, so rates are very high

Yes, what's your budget?
There are three Premier Inns in the centre of Liverpool. I stayed at the Moorfields one, which is less central than the two others but still walking distance to the docks and Liverpool One. It was fine and I'd certainly stay there again.
If you want the "theming" of the Hard Days Night Hotel, you have to pay for it. If you don't need the theming, as Emma says there are a large number of hotels in the centre at a variety of prices.

Yes, been there 7 times.
HDNH is good but pricey. If you want a Beatles theme, try the Ibis Styles Dale Street. Each floor is a different Beatles theme.
Z Hotel is on N John Street and excellent as well. Very small rooms , but great value.
