We're going to be on the Best of London tour beginning April 17, 2022 but will be arriving at Heathrow early afternoon Friday, Apr 15. What's the best, economical way to get to the hotel from the airport?

Most economical is usually to ride the tube (Piccadilly Line) to Green Park Station and walk to the hotel. That is dependent on how many are in your party.
Probably the easiest is to arrange for a prearranged transfer from Heathrow to your hotel. It will cost more, but may be worth it if you are tired or this is your first trip to London and you are unfamiliar with the tube.

There should be directions with your tour pack about 30 days out. The hotel is on the edges of Mayfair and reasonable stroll from Green Park tube station on the same Piccadilly Line that serves Heathrow. That is the most economical way unless "we" is a larger number or you haven't heeded the advice to pack light.
