LHR-Plaza Premium Airport Lounges

If there are people who are have used one of the airspace lounges at Heathrow, specifically, the Plaza Premium brand, I'd like to get some information about the experience. We have decided to pay for a day pass since we have a very long layover (8 hours approx.). Since we can reserve the space online in advance, I want to do that, but the website doesn't indicate whether it is refundable if we decide not to do prior to our trip. I also read that some of the lounges are quieter depending on whether they're located in the departures or arrivals terminals. I'd really appreciate any input and whether it might be better to use another lounge provider. We don't have a Platinum card so the Centurion lounges won't be an option, but if there are others that will allow a daily rental instead of membership, I'd like to know about those too.l

Plaza Premium only have lounges in the departure area in 2A and 4.

There is an Aspire lounge in the central departure area of 5 and in 3.

There is a Number One lounge in 3.

You can only use the lounge in the terminal you are leaving from.

There are other lounges on the arrivals side, but that means going through immigration to get to them.

Have you checked with your airline to see if you can buy a day pass to their lounge?
