LHR / LGW / LCY Which one?

Looking at booking flight from London to Seattle

Aer Lingus has flights from LHR-LGW and LCY to Dublin to get the SEA flight.

Will have been in London for several days doing 'the usual/typical tourist stuff". Probably staying in the Bayswater-Kensington area.

Which airport do you recommend? ( June, 2020 if that has any relevance)

Thank you

I agree with Emma as I have flown the Dublin to London route from both Heathrow and London City.

In terms of getting to the airport, if using public transit, LHR is easier.

In terms of getting from public transit to your gate, LCY is easier and faster.

Forget LGW from the Bayswater/Kensington area. Just not worth it.

Thank you emma and Frank II

At this point LHR is about $50 ( 40GBP) less per person ( 2 of us)

Heathrow express advance ticket at ~$10 looking like what may work for us.

Good to know to exclude LGW from consideration

Joe, note that that Heathrow Express advance ticket doesn't commit you to a specific train, only to a specific date. So you still have flexibility re timing. (I guess that's more relevant to those arriving than those departing.)
