Has anyone visited the Leighton House in the Holland Park district of London?
We visited last May and really enjoyed it.
Thanks, Julie.
I visited a few years ago and had a wonderful time. You may want to combine it with Sambourne House, which is 10 minutes away on foot. I believe there is a small discount for the combined ticket.
Thanks for that tip, Mary.
The house itself is quite small, but exquisite. The art is mostly Pre Raphaelite, and beautiful, if that is your taste.
Yes, was there earlier this year (Sambourne House as well) - definitely worth it.
Leighton House is lovely, especially the Arab Hall. Often there are special exhibitions, both of Victorian and contemporary art.
Yes, thank you all. I read about the "qa'a," the Arab hall and am looking forward to seeing it in person!
