In October I'll be visiting Leicester, and found a class I'd like to participate in that takes place in Melton Mowbray on a Sunday that would start at 10am. What are ideal options to get there. Looked at CrossCountry and of course I cannot see the schedule out until October, but as I scan Sundays through the summer it looks like the first train through Leicester to Melton Mowbray is at 12:15pm. Is there a local bus service linking the two? Push come to shove I'd plan on a car service.

Arriva bus service 5 runs two services a day on Sunday - the first from Leicester is at 1215, the last bus back is at 1326. (the same vehicle).
And yes the first train is also at 1215.
So there is zero suitable public transport.

and the earliest train on Saturdays is 6:15. Am I seeing that correct?
