I will be there next May and the tour I am taking does not cover where to do your laundry as well as RS tours do. I am looking for recommendations from folks who have actually used a laundry service while visiting Bath. I have found some via Google already.
Laurie,
In Bath, There is a launderette around the corner in St Jame's Square opposite the St Jame's Wine Vaults pub. I'm sure there's also launderette on the high street in Widcombe too. https://www.widcombelaundry.co.uk/
Where are you actually staying in Bath? If it's in the center then there is one on Margarets buildings is probably the most conveniant. If you aren't staying in the centre but out in the suburbs then maybe someone who lives in Bath will know of other launderettes. Just remembered, there was also one on Chelsea Road in Newbridge.

Jean, thanks so much. I am staying at the Francis on Queen Square.
We used the one in Margarets Building last year. The did not have service wash or a coin changer. We got change from a Pub across the street (We did purchase a cup of tea and croissant).
Oh...no input on the laundry but I've stayed at the Francis before. I loved how they incorporated a mural of the Roman Baths into the shower in my room! Very cool! Plus it's several Georgian era townhomes put together and they have plaques telling you which house number you are in an who lived there. My particular room was in #9 Queen Square which has been Architect John Wood the Elder's home.
There is a website that will provide all the launderettes in Great Britain.
Yes, as I mentioned in my post, I know you can search for laundrettes. However, I found they usually are Yelp type listings with very little information as to their services. I am looking for recommendations from people who have used either a service wash or laundrette in Bath
We used the Lovelywash Launderette on Bathwick St. in September. It was about a 10 min. walk from our hotel, The Ayrlington. We loaded our dirty clothes in our suitcases & trundled down the street! I knew from my research that there were no bill/coin changers, so we saved our coins up a few days prior to doing laundry. There was a small market right next door where you could buy something to obtain change. We bought some snacks at the store & hung out for about 2 hours one evening doing our laundry. One thing that would have been nice was a table to fold your clothes on. There was only a ledge along the window that also doubled as seating. No laundry service as far as I know.
