Late night dining options

Our family will be arriving via the day flight from the States on Wednesday April 13th. Since we won't get through customs until almost 10 I am looking for suggestions of dining options still open at Heathrow that we should take advantage of before heading on to our hotel in London.

It didn't take us long at all to go through UK Immigration at LHR last time we went to London, Christmas 2019. We always take the day flights there and I am pretty sure we have gotten a snack like a sandwich right before landing.
Enjoy your time there.

Thank you very much, that is great information. This is our first experience with the day flight , but we are really looking forward to it!

I almost always take the day flight. (At least when it's available.)

If you are arriving at Terminal 5, and find things closed, as you exit immigration and customs, turn right (towards the underground and Heathrow Express) and you will see and Marks & Spencer Simply Food. It's like a mini-grocery but with lots of prepared foods--sandwiches, salads, etc. You could taken them to your hotel. It's open 24 hours.

But as stated earlier, you should get something to eat on the plane about 90 minutes before landing.

If you are planning to take the tube or Heathrow Express.....remember...it doesn't run all night. Last trains around midnight. Give or take a bit.

Thank you so much! We are actually arriving into terminal 2 but it looks like there might be one in that terminal as well. Thanks for the tip!

Yes, there is an M&S Simply Food at Terminal two - left once you come out of customs into the public area.
