Six of us with six large bags and six carry-ons will be arriving at St. Pancras station after taking the Eurostar from Paris. Are there large taxis available in the tax queue to take us to our hotel, or do you have a private transfer suggestion? The last private transfer I contacted wanted £325 for a 30 minute trip!
When we arrived it was raining. The queue was looong. We used Uber, they were there in less than 5 minutes. take 2 separate ones.
No - you'll just get standard taxis. They are quite spacious, and I have previously traveled with a group of five plus five large bags, but six with so many bags will be too much. Either take two taxis, or as suggested, call two Ubers.
Have you rules out the public transfer option? It's only a bag and carry on, which we routinely carry on the tube. In fact we will be doing it again from Euston to East London to our son's house on Monday and then from there to Heathrow on Friday. Unless you have mobility issues it's pretty straightforward, unless you're staying somewhere with a lot of stairs at the tube station or a long walk from the tube.
