We are landing at Heathrow at 6:20 a.m., our hotel is near King's Cross. We have previously travelled in the UK and are comfortable with tube/train, however our concern is rush hour. Would we be better to forge the crowds on the rails, or hire a cab? If cab, how much should we expect to pay? Thanks!
The tube will start at LHR so will you get a seat. By the time you get to Kings Cross rush hour will picking up but you'll be getting off, going with the flow, assuming you're not laden with luggage.
A car service/taxi at that time will hit rush hour traffic going into central London and could prove time consuming.
Thank you, that's what I thought. Needed second opinion!
We travel light, should be fine.
Worth adding maybe that this this journey can be step free.
