Has anyone toured the Lancaster House where they film the Netflix series "The Crown" ? I would like to go there during our upcoming London trip but am having difficulty finding information on how to take a tour. Seems like all I get in my search results and on the official website is information to film TV shows. Any help on how to find out about taking a tour would be appreciated.

Robin - as you stated, they responded saying they do not do public tours.

If you are in London in September check the 'Open House Festival' , closer to the time. This year it runs from 6 to 17 September, and is the companion event to Heritage Open Days in the rest of England and Wales, and Doors Open Days in Scotland.
You get to visit all manner of buildings which are not usually open to the public.
