From 26 July to 4 August (and the same week every year) it is the Lake District Music Summer Festival-
This is a Classical Music Festival and takes place in various venues around the area in Ulverston, Kendal, Hawkshead, Ambleside, Grasmere, Crosthwaite (by Windermere), Kirkby Lonsdale and even Holker Hall.
