Kew Gardens & Harry Styles Concert On Same Day

We have Harry Styles in London in June and I also have never made it to Kew Gardens. Unfortunately Queen Charlotte’s Cottage seems to only be open Sat./Sun. Kew Palace is open on Weekdays. Kew opens 11 am and closes around 3pm (I could be wrong). So please tell me if we are staying in Richmond or Brentford areas, would going to Kew, then getting ready to head over to Wembley for the evening would be a doable plan? I was torn about finding accommodations closer to Kew or someplace easier to get to the stadium. Any advice appreciated. I have this week still to tweak my Airbnbs (cancel for full refund). I really, really wanted to see Queen Charlotte’s Cottage! I would stay in the area and repeat Hampton Court if I could get my family on board.

The big question is what time does the concert start?

Kew Gardens itself opens at 10am, and Kew Palace is open daily from 11am. Queen Charlotte’s Cottage is open from 11.30-3.30pm on the weekend. If you got to the gardens for 10am, you’d have time to walk around, head to the palace for 11am, be at the cottage some time after it opens, have lunch and then have time to get to Wembley for an evening concert.

Richmond and Brentford are both good areas to stay in for Kew, not so much for Wembley, although at least they are on the right side of London. I suggest you check out how to get to Wembley, and then you can work out how much time you have.

It's easy to get from Kew Gardens to Wembley Stadium- you just get the Mildmay line (Overground) from Kew Gardens to West Hampstead, then change for the Jubilee line to Wembley Park, from where you can see the stadium as you exit. The journey should take about 40 minutes. Note at West Hampstead you need to change stations, but the Jubilee line is just across the street and one block down from the Overground.
