Kent Coast - Isle of Thanet - Help with Itinerary

As part of a trip to London, I want to spend three days on the Kent Coast / Isle of Thanet.

I will make my base in Ramsgate. I've been doing a lot of research about the area but I'm having trouble discerning which of the following would be the nicest 2 or 3 places to visit:

Whitstable
Herne Bay
Margate
Broadstairs
Deal
Sandwich

Any advice on what is a must-see vs what I can miss would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance :o)

Hi Emma,

Sorry that was really vague!

Which are the prettiest? Both in terms of natural beauty as well as the towns / high street? Cliffs, sea, boats, pastel beach huts, cute shops, nice place to get a coffee or lunch ...

Thank you!

My choice would be to visit Faversham, Whitstable and Sandwich. Then Deal and Broadstairs if you have time. Margate's only attraction is the Turner, if that is your bag. Herne Bay is a dump.

The Isle of Thanet isn't the best part of Kent and has high unemployment, but there are some more attractive pockets.
