Kensington Area Recommendations

We're going to be staying in Kensington. We're senior citizens and are looking for an easy afternoon on the day we arrive in London. We have 8 days where we will be in and around London, and we don't want to do a marathon every day. Any recommendations for an easy few hours that first day?

Strolling Kensington Gardens followed by lunch at the gorgeous Churchill Arms pub would be a nice start!

ROCCA our favourite italien restaurant in Kensington.

If there's a concert that appeals to you, I would definitely recommend visiting the Royal Albert Hall. I loved it.

Welcome to the Forums, g8reema

as Frank II says, Kensington is a large area. I'll point out that it is a quite variable area.

Different tube and bus lines serve various parts of the borough of Kensington and Chelsea, which will make what you can do variable depending on exactly which part you will be in.
