Hello
Looking for some help to plan our time in Jurassic Coast area. Wondering what area to stay in and how many days to stay!
Thank you.
We really enjoyed our stay at Lulworth Cove. Thralls lead from there in both directions. curdle Door is a short hike.

We stayed with HF Holidays but they no longer have an inn there. However, we did have dinner at this pub and they have rooms as well:
Here is an idea of a place near by that you might enjoy visiting. Tyneham is on my radar because some of my relatives were displaced from this village. I offer it up as a possible point of interest.

Great suggestion! We hiked there from Lulworth Cove. It was a nice hike and the village is very interesting. I was trying to remember the name to suggest it myself, so you have saved me the trouble of trying to reconstruct that trip.
I would stay in Lyme Regis.
Agree with Lyme Regis suggestion. After staying in London got my rental car at Heathrow ( Hertz ).
Stayed in an AirBnB flat. ( No longer available. )
Lyme Regis is a hilly town with a lovely strand. Tasty seafood at the Harbour Inn.
Visit Rolly’s to buy homemade fudge. Enjoy a pint at the Nags Head and if you have pets don’t miss stopping in the Pug and Puffin pet store.
I stayed 4 nights, explored Fossil Beach. Drove over to West Bay and explored the beach and cliffs there. If a fan of Broadchurch you’ll recognize West Bay.
Hello
How many days to stay ? Well there is a lot to see so it really depends on your priorities. I see from your other post you may be interested in Roman history. If so then there is an excellent museum in Dorchester, with a lot of Roman remains and even mosaics which you can walk on. Nearby there is also the remains of a roman town house.
Thank you all for the information.
