I'm assuming it’s likely too cold to swim at the end of April, so If I’m not going to swim, then my thought is that I could have an early dinner on IOW, take either the last hovercraft (7:15 pm) or a ferry back to Portsmouth in time to catch a train back to Arundel
It would be most convenient to be near Ryde, but I'd consider Ventnor if just to try Crave, lol
