Is Victoria Station vs Victoria Coach Station - any hotel recommendation?

Hi!

We will have a short 2-1/2 days in London on a weekend in August. In previous visits we've been to the typical tourists spots and this time we'd like to do a day trip outside of London. Planning to join Rabbie's small group tour to Cotswold & Oxford and would like to stay pretty close or walking distance to where the meet up location is: Stance 3, Greenline Coach Terminal London, Stance 3, Greenline Coach Terminal, Bulleid Way, Victoria, London, SW1W 9SH.

Any budget-friendly hotels in the area? Premier Inn is pretty much booked up.

Thank you in advance for any hotel input. Much appreciated!

Think you might struggle this close to August. £250 to £300 seems to be about the rate. Wellington by Blue Orchid is one showing a half decent price, and that's not too bad. And it's about 10 minutes to walk

Greenline Coach Station isn’t a ‘coach station’ as such. It’s directly opposite Victoria Coach Station but can either mean the road outside (where the Oxford Tube buses stop) or very occasionally the undercover bit behind that looks like a building site and has for years! (It was a mixed shopping and leisure development where the Europe bound coaches would pick up when I was a kid!) Either way, you’re looking at a five minute walk maximum from Victoria train/underground and you could cut through Victoria Place (shopping mall above the train station)

We have stayed at Cherry Court Hotel, which is very near Victoria Station. According to Google Maps, it is a 3 minute walk from the address you indicated. I don't know if they have any availability for your dates but their rates are very reasonable. They don't do online bookings, you will need to email or call them. Their website is http://www.cherrycourthotel.co.uk/

Thank you All for your prompt and helpful responses. Much appreciated.

@jgdh - I checked the rate at The Wellington B.O. and it's pretty much beyond our budget. I think it's a wonderful hotel though.

@monkfishface100 - Appreciate the detailed location info----very helpful indeed!

@mondaw1958 - Perfect location! I emailed them to inquire about rate & availability.

I just made a reservation at St. Simeon, 38 Harrington Gardens, South Kensington, Kensington and Chelsea, London, SW7 4LT, as a backup while I continue to search.. It's 17 minutes to Victoria coach station---I think it's doable.
