Thanks so much to everyone that responded to my questions on the bus service from Heathrow to Oxford at night. But is there a car service that can take us from Heathrow to Oxford around 10-11 pm and if so approximately how much would it cost? Has anyone used this service? We are flying into Heathrow from Athens on British Airlines. Thanks in advance for the help
No personal experience, but often mentioned here is this service.

At that hour a taxi would be enticing, but for the sake of full disclosure, there's a company that runs frequent buses between Heathrow and Oxford: https://www.theairlineoxford.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/the-airline-A4-timetable-April-2022-WEB-V3.pdf.
The current schedule shows departures at 10:05 PM, 11:05 PM, 1:05 AM, 3:05 AM and 5:05 AM. Trips later in the day are somewhat more frequent after that. The trip is scheduled to take 90 minutes.
If you take a regular taxi that is based in Oxford a typical strike price is around £80 plus car parking etc.
There are plenty to choose from: 001, Spire, Royal etc.
London Oxford taxis tend to be a little bit more expensive but they also have a bit more quality about the experience as they are more like chauffeured cars than taxis despite the name.
Check out Windsor Cars in nearby Slough. I have used for shorter trips than Oxford and was very satisfied.
Thanks for your help. I emailed them and it cost 80 pounds for car service.
Scot, is that figure acceptable to you?
I emailed them and it cost 80 pounds for car service
Who is "them" ?
Others may find it helpful to know who.
The them is the recommended Blackberry service. I think we will probably use them because I like the idea of some one waiting for us if the plane is late. Thanks for your help
I"ve used 12 Transfers multiple times. Their drivers are very professional. It can vary (by cost) depending on the day and # of people/car you hire. They wait at the airport (with signs) and can provide a quote online.
Tried to book blackberry and they are not available.
I'd try with one of the Oxford based services I mentioned above. The drivers there are traveling home rather than away which can be a factor at night for availability.
Scot, there are a few more car services you could check.

No personal experience, but have seen them recommended.
As noted above though, maybe better if you could find an Oxford based car service. If you will be staying in an Oxford hotel they may also have suggestions.
A little different idea. How about just spending the night at a Heathrow Hotel and making your way to Oxford the next day? Would that be a viable option for you?
12 Transfers could not do it or never got to me. Just airports is 116 pounds. Sent emails to Simply Airports and 001 Taxis. Welcome Pickup’s doesn’t do that transfer route. One of the links didn’t work for the local taxi service. I will check a few more of the links
The link that did not work was for London Oxford Taxis. I think the Spire website would not accept my email question unless I knew the post code of the hotel and airport. As I can not find an email for the Premier Inn Oxford City Centre.
Not staying around LHR because we already paid for the Premier Inn in Oxford City Centre. Can not find an email for it to ask for a recommendation
Premier Inn aren't good at communication. They do relatively basic relatively inexpensive lodging - they are very busy behind the desk doing all sorts of things you wouldn't expect desk staff to do and don't have time for other things.
I know you have a late arrival, but the coach services (The Airline) previously discussed combined with a local taxi for the last hop from Gloucester Green are inexpensive and reliable, and about as fast as a taxi all the way or a car service.
I agree that the coach still sounds like a good option.
We are in London for the weekend. Blackberry didn't have time to pick us up at Heathrow Airport or take us to Gatwick Airport.
We are using Heathrow Express and Gatwick Express and cabs as an alternative. When I said my wife had a portable mobility scooter they sent us a quick "we're too busy."
Booked with Royal Cars for 85 pounds. Was getting worried. Thanks so much for your help.
