Is Eurostar like the airlines?

Suppose one has a round trip ticket between London and Paris. If for some reason one does not show up in time for and misses the outbound trip, does Eurostar do like the airlines and cancel the return trip ticket?

Thank you

In most cases there is no discount on Eurostar for return tickets. Each leg is priced separately.
AFAIK there is no problem being a "no show" for the outbound leg. If you are in any doubt, just buy two separate tickets, it should not cost you any more.

There a few roundtrip discounts at the lowest fare levels, but not most fares, and not usually cheaper than one-way. People miss trains all the time and there's no penalty for this, other than losing that one ticket.

For Eurotunnel, rather than Eurostar.
Eurotunnel is with a car, Eurostar is on foot.

If you’re just late, rather than missing it entirely, they are very good at accommodating you and will get you on the next train with space. You might have to pay the difference in ticket cost if you’re new time is a higher cost. Same applies if you want to travel earlier.
