And sold out already - which suggests they weren't charging enough...
£100 less than my Diana Ross ticket. If it sells out why charge less?
For all the billionaires on the forum:
Is this sarcasm? Tickets are only £85. But then the article goes on to say that tickets are a whopping £85. What am I missing? Why is this considered expensive? I'd put it on the list to go if I was there when tours are offered.
Too bad my next trip to the UK does not align with when tours would be available. I think £85 is pretty reasonable, I guess that makes me a billionaire.
Perhaps it's a reaction by Brits because so many of their museums in London are free. If the above is too rich for your blood or you can't get a ticket, take a gander:

I guess maybe because it's more than double of the other Royal Trust Collection sites. Buckingham Palace is £32 and Windsor Castle is £31.
In an ideal world, all the Royal Palaces would be free, just like our national museums.
[edit: Lindy said almost the same above. Great minds thinks alike :)]
£85 is more expensive than any other tourist attraction that I can think of in the UK. Harry Potter studios is around £50 and heritage attractions are usually a lot less than this.
There are sold out Spring Tours of the East Wing of Buckingham Palace for £90.
Also, on another thread, pre opening time tours of Westminster Abbey for £120, which also sell out.
