A postponed strike (from September) on the Victoria Line is back on. 24 hours from 10pm on Wednesday 27 November to the same time on Thursday 28 November. Expect trains to wind down before the official time so that the driver is back at the depot before the trains stop, and not to recommence in much shape before the Friday morning.
The union has threatened that this will be the first of many strikes until they are happy.
If you are travelling in London that day expect alternate routes to be very busy. The Victoria Line will push a very large number of passengers off to other routes. They carry 600,000 passemgers a day.
