I haven't been to the Imperial War Museum since 2014, and maybe their WWI exhibit has improved for the anniversary, but the one at York Castle Museum impacted me much more. It was about people's lives rather than battles and geopolitics.

Agreed. I spent quite a bit more time than I had intended at the York Castle Museum because of the WWI exhibit. The Shaping the Body exhibit was really interesting too.

I enjoyed all the exhibits there and the Shaping the Body exhibit was really interesting. I thought everything at this museum was done really well and the size of the museum was just right-not too small and not overwhelming.
