If you are in London now . . .

Or later this month, don't forget to look at the Thames Festival offerings. The celebration of the river goes on through September.

We fly to London from San Jose tonight, but we are not stopping---we just change planes on our way to Germany. We had to fly down here from Seattle yesterday, and our Alaska Airlines flight was delayed. We knew it would be hot and smoky in San Jose, with all our family members in the area out of town, so I actually checked to see if we could transfer to yesterday's BA flight to London from Seattle, which would have given us more than 24 hours there before continuing to Munich. No dice. We flew south and arrived in San Jose in time to catch last night's BA flight ( incoming plane had not landed yet) so I checked on that one too. Again no dice.

So here we are chillin' San Jose, waiting for the flight we originally booked, instead of enjoying a walk along the South Bank. I told my husband about my efforts to get us on the earlier flights and he was surprised that I could be so spontaneous (not my usual style). But he would have been OK with it.

Hi There Everyone!
I'll be in London, on the 7,8 and 9th of September. Then leaving on Sunday, the 10th for Bath - for the "Best of England Tour". If anyone else happens to be in London at that time and is on my tour, feel free to email me, so we could possibly meet up beforehand.
Really looking forward to a fabulous time in England!
Ann
