Hyde Park location.

We are looking forward to our first visit to London, 4 days, after a RS tour of Scotland in late May. I found what looks like a great apt on Cross-Pollenator per this forum near Hyde Park. We will want to do a few touristy things but also enjoys walks in parks and small neighborhoods. One thing we do hope to do is a river cruise. Suggestions for booking that appreciated. 😽

Here's a Google map focusing on Hyde Park. You may need to zoom out a bit so you see the area around the park on all sides. Note the Underground stations (small red circles with a horizontal bar). As you can see, some places near the NE corner or SW corner of the park would be a pretty fair walk from the nearest Underground station. In addition, all Underground stations are not created equal: Those serving two or more lines allow quicker access to more places because you don't have to transfer as often. Unless you're happy to put in half a mile or more between your lodgings and the Underground, it's important to consider the exact location of the apartment.

Thank you all for the great info. The apt I’m looking at is a few blocks above the Italian Garden at Hyde Park. It looks like there are tube stations within a few blocks also. And thanks for the bus advice. The link to a map was very helpful.
I will have more question in the next weeks as I plan this trip.
