Hello!
Just realized that my flight is landing at London Luton- not Heathrow or Gatwick. Anyone know how to get to the city center? I'm staying near the Tower of London.

Emma has detailed the best route. The Tower Hill area isn't that well connected to the tube area, so you may want to look at taking buses too. The website tfl.gov.uk will help with route planning - you can pop in quickest/fewest changes/least walking etc.

If you want the bus to Tower Hill from the Thameslink, get off the train at City Thameslink and use the exit nearest the front of the train. City Thameslink is the stop immediately before Blackfriars and the one right after Farringdon.
Cross the road to the bus stop and take the number 15 bus up Ludgate Hill. A bonus - the bus goes right next to St Pauls Cathedral as it tops the hill... Possible second bonus - the 15 route is not only operated by modern buses but also every few buses by Heritage Routemasters, the iconic London Bus. No change in fare, but with a real Conductor.
