I looked at Google Maps and there seems to be a lot of train switching to HCP from South Kensington Station. Is that right? Is there a simpler way to get there, perhaps? Same goes for Windsor the following day. I'm just a little confused and like to have all my ducks in a row before I go so I'm not trying to figure it out and wasting time on the day. Thanks so much for your help!
What is HCP?
Hampton Court
Underground from South Kensington to Waterloo
Train from Waterloo to Hampton Court
Windsor
Underground from South Kensington to Paddington
Train from Paddington (via Slough) to Windsor & Eton Central
Thank you!! Google maps has me catching buses and so many different options. Thanks for simplifying for me!!
Don’t use an American website for London transport! For all things London travel related, use tfl.gov.uk, which will be more accurate.
Honestly, the TFL site can be just as confusing with so many options. I also have the Citymapper app to use when we're there. I'll figure it out there, I guess.
Hampton Court
Underground from South Kensington to Wimbledon
Train from Wimbledon to Hampton Court
Thanks for translating HCP! This is a very easy ride. When you get off the train in Hampton Court, simply walk through the station and go over the bridge. You will be at the gates of Hampton Court Palace.
I'd have said via Wimbledon too. (not during the Fortnight).
