Household Cavalry Museum (London) info please

Some friends think they'd like to see The London Household Cavalry Museum. It requires timed entry. Is there a tour that begins upon entry? If so, how long does it last? What sort of things do you see? The website says, “The Daily Inspection takes place at 4pm (Front Yard Whitehall).” If you arrive at 3:30pm can you see this or would you be in the middle of a tour? Has anyone seen the inspection? Was it worth seeing? Please where is the Front Yard Whitehall located in relation to the Household Cavalry Museum? Thanks so much!

Use Google Maps. Type in Household Calvary Museum London.

See the large parade ground off Horse Guards Road? That’s the locale.

Thank you for replying, but the museum website lists the 11am changing of the guard as being at the "Horse Guards Parade Ground", which I think that you are referring to, but the 4pm "Daily Inspection" as being at, "Front Yard Whitehall" so I'm still thinking that is a different place...

Then it would be in the front grounds where the guards are stationed.

We have been to that museum; it is small be interesting. There was no tour when we were there; you saw the exhibits on your own. That was before covid and it may be different now.

The entrance is from the front of the building on Whitehall. The parade grounds are on the back side, across from St. James Park. See the map here:
