I am planning our trip to London and Cornwall next fall. I have most of my reservations made except on the way from Bath to Penzance. I wasn't going to reserve a room but then realized it will be a Saturday and Sunday nite. I want to stay along the beautiful coast for 2 nites (I'd love staying on a high wind swept cliff ala Daphne duMaurie!).Does anyone have any good suggestions? Thanks!
I don't know if this is on your route or not but we stayed at The Old School Hotel in Port Isaac and liked it a lot. https://www.theoldschoolhotel.co.uk/

Thank you!!
We spent a few nights in Lewis' B&B http://www.cornwall-online.co.uk/lewis-bedandbreakfast/ in Tintagel, a 16th century home with sea views and within walking distance to Tintagel Castle, restaurants and shops. Bonus, there's a laundry right next door. We did day trips to Boscastle and Bude (for golf) north along the coast and Port Isaac and Padstow south along the coast. Free, secure parking and wonderful breakfasts. The owner is on site and very friendly and interesting to talk to.
