My husband and I are planning a 2 night stay in Liverpool in October. We are interested in a well-located, luxury hotel option that is quiet and has a private bathroom (not a "wet room). So many of the reviews for various hotels cite noise issues. Any suggestions appreciated!

I also stayed at the Resident Liverpool. I thought it was very nice and I really liked the location. I wouldn’t describe it as ”luxury”. There was some noise one of the weekend nights that I was there from music at a nearby venue. I would definitely stay there again.

I used to travel to Liverpool 4-5 times a year for several years, so I have stayed at many hotels in Liverpool. The one that I finally figured worked best for me was the Hilton Hotel. It is very centrally located right next to Liverpool One where one can find lots of restaurants. It is also across from Albert Docks which also has a lot of good restaurants (as well as the "Beatles Experience"). Mathew Street where the Cavern Club (made famous by the Beatles) is located is also walking distance.
