Hotel room for 3 people in Costwald?

Is it possible to find hotel in the Cotswold with a double bed for two and a cot for one person?
We would like to drive from Heathrow on a Saturday to the Cotswold and then Sunday morning to Dover
to meet a cruise ship. We have driven through the Cotswold before when there was just the two of us and stayed
at B&Bs. Thank you.

Driving west from Heathrow for 2 hours to drive east for 4 hours the following morning doesn’t make much sense.

But to answer your question ---- Of course, just ask for a triple. Or a family room. However the idea of booking a double slipping in a three person, even a children, is not done in Europe or England.

Plus I won’t recommend driving on arrival day if you’re arriving that day.

I’d just take a train to Dover, you don’t want to miss that boat. Anything and everything can go wrong with your current plan.

Check out the Volunteer Inn in Chipping Campden.

As for driving after a transatlantic flight, I do it, because I am never tired and so excited about our trip. However, don't drive far and have a navigator to help you. Get a GPS or nav system on the vehicle and it should be an automatic.

One problem, Dover is on the opposite side of Heathrow from the Cotswolds. Consider visiting Canterbury. Take the train.

When you say “drive to Cotswald” you make it sound like one specific place.
The Cotswolds are a large geographical area with many towns and villages.
There are lots of hotels and B&Bs in The Cotswolds and i’m pretty sure many will have a room for three people.

I like using Booking.com to find rooms.
