Hotel recommendations walking distance from Paddington station

We thought of staying in a hotel near Paddington station, because out of 4 days, on two days we are taking London Walks tours that start @ Paddington station. Would appreciate recommendations for reasonably priced hotels near Paddington, within walking distance. Would be nice if it has 24 hour tea/coffee. We stayed once at a Premier Inn near King's Cross which had 24 hour tea/coffee, was great when you came back in the evening.

Hilton London on Praed Street is right outside Paddington Station. Never stayed there so can’t attest to 24/hr coffee tea service. There’s also a Park Grand Hotel a few blocks away.

If you can find a deal, Paddington Hilton is inside the station.

I stayed here for a week a couple of years ago. It was comfortable and convenient to Paddington and its tube stations. I think they had 24-hour tea and coffee -- maybe not all night but seemingly most of the time. My single room was very small ("cosy") but the price was right. I chose the location because I was planning a couple of day trips from the station and several tube lines were available.

The London Elizabeth Hotel its a 6 minute walk from Paddington. Falcon a Hotel is a three minute walk. Both have tea/coffee in the room.

Emma, what I meant by 24 hour tea/coffee is that the hotel lounge/bar had several different types of tea/coffee, available free all the time. I don't remember if they had a kettle in the room.

"Reasonably priced"? That doesn't help. What is your specific budget/night and what time of year?

Lancaster Hall. It is within easy walking distance of Paddington. We have stayed there many times. It is comfortable, clean, inexpensive, and has a very good breakfast. Don't know about the 24 hour coffee. We will be staying again this September. Check it out.

Thanks all, for the recommendations! Rosemary, Lancaster Hall looks like the best choice for us but right now they have rooms available for 2 of the 4 nights that we need. Let's see, maybe things might change.

Andy - Hopefully something opens for you for all 4 days. I think you will enjoy the Lancaster. Easy walk to some pubs and Hyde Park. When will you be there.

In 2016 we stayed 2 nights at the Mercure Paddington Hotel, which was just a few doors outside the station. It was very convenient, and roomier than other small London hotel rooms we've stayed in. We would stay there again.

Since I belong to the Accor Hotels group, to which it belongs, we were entitled to a full breakfast from the menu of the restaurant next door. I don't eat breakfast but my husband really enjoyed it. There is also a McDonalds just a few doors away, and other restaurants nearby. (We stayed at the Stratford-upon-Avon Mercure the following week.)
