Hotel reco for couple and one kid

Ok forum folks looking for a London hotel that meets this criteria:

What we want:
One room that sleeps a couple and a single kid (two beds, one double/queen/king and the other anything that a kid will sleep on)
Air conditioning if possible or at least a fan
Kitchen area with fridge and cooktop - we want to be able to have yogurt and re-heat stuff from local market (avoid a meal out or two)
Quiet street in decent area near Tube - dont really care which part of London just as long as safe and hotel is not on a major street
Near a park or other outdoor space - place to chill within short walk is great
Stand up shower - no bath only option no matter how cute the tub we want a shower

What we dont care about
Free breakfast
Has a lift or not - we can walk up stairs as needed
Common area - dont need a gathering place at the hotel
room size - we know rooms in UK are smaller than US

Budget is sub 200 pounds a night target for mid Aug trip. Any suggestions?

We stayed in The Citadines South Kensington, which sounds similar to the place Mary suggested. It was a 5 minute walk to the Gloucester Road tube stop and about 5-10 minute walk to Kensington Gardens. We found it easy to get around to various parts of London. Another place I noticed was Fraser Suites South Kensington. I don't know anything about it, though. I would book soon if it is for this August.

Look at Premier Inns. One of their room types in some of their hotels is a queen and a twin.

Thanks for all the replies, we decided on the Vancouver Studios options from the Forum advice and Guidebook. Looking forward to it. Any good food options near that Bayswater locale we should not miss?
