In July we are flying into London on a Thursday and fly back to the states on Sunday having spent 2 month in Germany before that. We scored Tickets for the legendary Van Morrison, Neil Young and Cat Stevens among others . We are looking for a place to stay very close to the Park. Budget is negotiable but we want a king size bed. I looked and I find it almost impossible to find? Thanks

Have you checked on booking.com? You can filter for location and price. But I wouldn't get too fixated on being too near Hyde Park, as long as you are close to an Underground station with connections to Hyde Park Corner, Marble Arch, or Lancaster Gate.

Check out Number 63 Bayswater. I have stayed there several times and the rates are very reasonable. The first time I stayed there I was lucky enough to walk across the street to Hyde Park and hear Elton John.
It sounds like an amazing concert. Enjoy!
