Any recommendations for places to stay in Liverpool city center.
The Hard Days Night Hitel is nice and it has a cool Beatles theme and was right in the middle of all the action.
Hi, weeks5,
I can heartily recommend the Staybridge Suites at Albert Dock. The hotel is close to everything in the city centre, and the suites have full kitchen facilities, including plates, cups, and silverware, so you can save a good bit of money by preparing ready made meals available at the local Tesco and M&S. They also serve a great breakfast, which is included in the room charge, and have social evenings with free food and drink Monday through Wednesday.
Only downside is, if you have a car, it costs 24 pounds per night to park (standard for the area), but you can park in a nearby (very safe) car park for 18 pounds per night through an agreement with the hotel.
If you're there for Beatles' related sites, there are many within walking distance of the hotel.
And the hotel staff is outstanding!
Safe travels!

In the Center of Liverpool. Great Service.
Premier Inn Albert Dock. Perfectly located. Same issue as above with parking but they do have an option to use a nearby garage for £12 if you don't mind a slightly longer walk.
Love Liverpool, been four times!
Another Premier Inn I’ve stayed at is City Centre (Lime Street). Especially handy for train travelers as it’s literally just across the street from Lime Street Station. Plenty of restaurants and other things like the Walker Gallery right near there, and less than a 30 minute walk to Albert Dock area. It’s like any other Premier Inn, nothing fancy but clean and the room was fine as was the price.
Due to not living too far from Liverpool, I have only stayed out three time. Twice have been in Premier Inns, one on Lime St about 30 seconds walk from the main station, and the other on Hanover St, very handy for shops and restaurants.
The other time was the Liner Hotel. I would stay at any of these again.
If you are a Beatles fan the Hard Day's Night hotel is a must!
