Hotel in London 3 people

Hello!

We stayed at Page8 two years ago in Covent Garden and loved how close it is to restaurants and shops, but we are planning on bringing our mom to London this September and that makes 3, so Page8 won't work this time around.

Any recommendations for hotels in the $300 to high $400 range for 3 ladies near a walkable street with shops and restaurants? We don't need to be by the tube. We love Covent Garden, Kensington area, Mayfair, Westminster.

Hoping for 2 double beds or 3 twin beds! Or are the sofa beds comfortable? Has anyone tried them?

We were thinking about The Clermont Charing Cross...? Thoughts?

Thank you!
B.

I like the Imperial Group. They have 5 hotels in the Bloomsbury area. Join the free "club" for discounts. Several of their hotels have triple rooms.

Also Travelodge has triple rooms.

I have stayed at the Clermont Charing Cross and really liked it. It’s a big old railway hotel but it’s very well maintained and run. Location cannot be beaten. The breakfast was only on the good side of average but plenty of other options nearby. It’s a very peaceful place to stay in such a busy and central location.

The Resident Kensington may meet your budget. They do have triple rooms. If you sign up as a member (free), you will get 15% off your booking. They have a mini-kitchenette with microwave, mini-fridge, glasses, plates/bowls, utensils.

You might try Hotel 63.

Yes that is the name. It is a very small historic hotel on Bayswater Road and right across from Kensington Gardens.

I stayed in the "cheapest" room for one which was not terribly nice but I walked by some of the other rooms and they were very beautiful . It may be that they can lodge 3 persons.

There is a small but decent breakfast and will hold you over until the next meal. Staff is very nice and international.
