Hotel in Chelsea area of London

I will be in London next May and would like to stay in the Chelsea area. Please recommend a hotel or two that would be considered 3 or 4 stars and offers breakfast. Thank you.

Try doing a search for hotels in Chelsea, post some names and see if you get feedback about specific hotels.
Chelsea covers a wide area.

On recent trips ( 2019, 2024,2025 and 2026) I have found fewer hotels offering breakfast as part of the room rate.

booking.com might be a good source for research. You do not have to book through booking.

I just booked a hotel that does not offer a complimentary breakfast but I paid for breakfast to be included.

I got a good deal on my hotel and even with paying for breakfast, it remained a good deal.

It's interesting that this question had so few responses. Is Chelsea not popular with visitors here? I don't think there's the same choice of hotels in Chelsea proper that you'd find in nearby South Kensington or Earl's Court. Chelsea is more high end residential streets for the very well-heeled. I'm no expert on hotels, or Chelsea for that matter. It's a bit posh for a plebeian like me. It may be worth expanding your search on Booking.com, as suggested by Bostonphil, to South Kensington if you want to be in that area. Earl's Court may lean more to the three star end of things.

I know a great song about it though.

GerryM, I have stayed in the South Kensington and Earl's Court areas on previous trips to London.
There are several hotels within seat walking distance of the South Kensington and Gloucester Road Tube stations- Doubletree by Hilton Millennium Bailey, Crowne Plaza to name three.
When planning recent trips
(2024, 2025 and 2026) I have found that fewer hotels include breakfast in the room rate.

I know this is not what you were asking for but it might work?
It has previously been mentioned here.

I used to go past it on the way to work and from memory I think there some shops and coffee shops across the road from it.

I have been staying at the Hotel Indigo Kensington my last four trips to London. It is a two-minute (or less) walk to the Earl's Court tube station and there is a bus stop within a thirty second walk of the front door of the hotel. They have a breakfast.
