Horseback/Trail ride in/near London

Hello, Anyone know of or have participated in trail ride options in/around London. This would be for a small group (6) of 13 y/o. I know there is the infamous Hyde Park ride. Ty

I was interested so I Googled it. I don't have any experience, but I like horses and learned to ride when I was a child.

Trent Park Equestrian Centre offers a 45 minute ride out (hack). It's just in the north-east suburbs, near Enfield. I'll link below -

Very near me is a riding school, Lee Valley Riding Centre. I'm not sure how much they offer in terms of trail riding, but they have a programme of lessons. If they are competent riders, maybe a short jumping lesson? If they're used to riding western style, it may be interesting to learn how to ride English style, with two hands on the reins etc.

Others may know places outside London where you can get into the country more.

Ty All for the info. Will look into the options. I was saying infamous HP because it's pretty cool riding through HP, and the city streets to get into the park. Similar to the Clermont Stables in Manhattan, opened in 1892, closed in 2007. From the stables walking through Manhattan into Central Park, usually without a guide. It was special.

Just a thought - remember that we use English, rather than Western, saddles. If you have not used an English saddle before, it can feel rather insecure.
I used to ride in Hyde Park as a novice. Crossing Baywater Road was an adventure, and the behaviour of numbers of tourists/dogs in the park not expecting horses could sometimes cause a heart flutter!
An air ambulance once landed - the horses didn't like that at all!
