Wondering if this is worth it for 12, 10 and 7yo plus two parents. I lived in London so I know the routes that would show us sites but I would like my kids to learn the fun facts. Thoughts on whether it’s worth it?
I always find them worthwhile but others will knock them. I like the buses for a good overview and orientation when we are new to the city. We always ride one full circle and then decide the sites to visit. You have the advantage of prior knowledge so you can probably make the buses work a little better for you.
IMHO, kids that age would probably enjoy a HOHO, and it would give the parents a bit of a break as well.
I think there are bus tours that specifically cater to children.
London traffic makes this a frustrating experience for me. You know your family best.
We did this with our grandkids. It was very boring as we mostly sat in traffic for long periods of time.
Going to be costly but confirm if these are still operational
