Have a business meeting in May in the town of Camberley, 30 miles west of Central London. Was going to go a couple of days early to see Highclere (I will have tickets for their special May tour with a 9:30 start time) and Blenheim in particular. Have been to Windsor previously, but wouldn't mind seeing again if time permits. Any suggestions on what town to stay in - Windsor? Oxford? Newbury? Other? I'm not particularly keen on renting a car, is there other public transportation available that would be reasonably efficient between these places?

Public transport between Newbury and Oxford is bus-only. From a transport point of view only, Reading might be the most convenient for all of these, although for Highclere you will need a taxi for the last part and an early-ish start. (Trains take between 15-30 minutes depending on stops.) Can get between Reading and Camberley changing at Ascot. Reading also has a direct non-stop coach service from Heathrow.
