Help with travel schedule in July

Hello!
We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids (10 years old), and we are coming to London for 9-10 days in July.

We have free accommodation at a friend's empty flat at Reading, but we need some help on how to split the days as we want to stay also in London, so that the kids can get some rest.
Please let us know if below sounds reasonable, or maybe the London days are not a lot?
Day 1. Around 18:00 get at our hotel at Holbron
Day 2. London
Day 3. London, booked theatre at 19:30
Day 4. London during day, move to Reading at night
Day 5. Rent a car, maybe Stonehenge , Castle Combe area
Day 6. This is a Sunday, so possibly drive to Warwick castle
Day 7. With the rented car drive toward WB Harry Potter studios, 14:00 booking.
Day 8. We'll give back the car, so either get the train to Oxford or to London
Day 9. move for our last night back to London hotel.
Day 10. Flight at 17:00.

Thanks!

Reading has excellent rail services so it would be possible for you to stay in your friend's flat & use the trains to a wide variety of places. London is only 30 minutes away on trains travelling at 125 mph. Bath can be done in 50 minutes. Reading is also within easy reach of Heathrow by train (change at Hayes & Harlington) or bus/coach.

You could also visit nearby Henley-on-Thames. The Regatta (rowing) takes place in early July. You don’t have to pay to enter - just have a wander around the lovely town and go down to the river. You can walk along the east bank for free as it is a public right of way.

For Castle Combe & Stonehenge - best to rent a car.

On Day 8 and 9 you could stay in Reading, then on Day 10 take the rail air bus direct to Heathrow.
If you wanted to go to London for the day on Day 9 then use the Elizabeth line straight to Central London.

From Reading you can easily get to Salisbury for the Stonehenge tour bus by switching trains at Basingstoke - 3 per hour Reading to Basingstoke, 2 per hour Basingstoke to Salisbury.

Thank you for your lovely replies.

We are going around 18th July, landing at Stanstead, thus we wont be able to see the Regata.

I thought about staying at Reading and goign on a daily basis to London, but i wanted to be able to go back in the afternoon at the hotel and go back out at night. Also because the train tickets might be around 50 GBP, thus i though at leat for the last night to avoid going back and forth to stay at a hotel.
