We are trying to plan a trip from London to Edinburgh and Inverness/Highlands. I would like to take a sleeper train to Edinburgh and one back home from Inverness. Trying to navigate the booking tools on Scotrail and I just can't figure that sight out. Any suggestions?
It is called the Caledonian Sleeper and info is below:

what part of the booking are you finding confusing?
I wouldn't suggest a sleeper from London to Edinburgh as it's a very easy trip to take during the day, only about four hours as I recall.
pizappi,
as Ken puts it, its about a 4 hour ride. Its not that scenic, to me, but i enjoyed chatting with the locals.
happy trails.
