Help finding bike rental in Shropshire!!

Hi! My husband and I are planning to walk several stages in the Shropshire Way this July, but would also like to rent bikes in the Ludlow-Clun-Church Stretton area. We are having a LOT of trouble finding a bike/rental - cycle hire place nearby that still rents bikes for a day. Our trip is fast approaching--please if someone knows of a place that is CURRENTLY hiring bikes, please let me know! (I've already connected with BlazingBikes, Shropshire Hills Mountain Bike & Outdoor Pursuit Centre, Wheely Wonderful Bikes, and Pearce Farms)

Have you tried Max Bikes? They are based in Shrewsbury but seem to offer delivery across Shropshire and also offer some guided day tours. I know nothing about them beyond finding them on a search.

Also note that some trains going from Shrewsbury down the Heart of Wales Line have a coach especially or bicycles. They call at Church Stretton & Craven Arms - where they leave The Marches Line and head off south-westerly down the single track Heart of Wales Line.https://news.tfw.wales/news/first-cycle-train-enters-service-on-the-heart-of-wales-line

It looks like most of the trains that use the Heart of Wales Line are now 2 coaches (Class 153) with one coach having the additional bike space. Note that these trains are infrequent and you can see the timetable on this link:>https://www.heart-of-wales.co.uk

Some of the trains that stay on the main line also have space for bicycles. Best to check with train company Transport for Wales if it not convenient to use the Heart of Wales services.

Be sure to visit Ludlow. Note that the Shropshire Hills are steep. The main A49 road is very busy. Suggest you look on Google Maps for roads you intend to cycle and then drop down to Streetview to see what they are like.
