Heathrow train station ticket counter - staffed? hours?

Greetings. My mother and I will be arriving into Heathrow at 9:30pm and want to take the Heathrow Express into London. We already know we want to buy the Two Together rail card (it will save on other tickets during the rest of our trip) and would like to use it to save on the fare on that train, but since we live in the US, we can't order it online. I understand that we can purchase it from any staffed counter, but I question if there will be a staffed ticket counter to purchase the Two Together card from by the time we clear customs?

If anyone can shed light on this, it would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

There isn't a National Rail office at Heathrow so you can't get railcards there.

Note that there is a special 'duo saver' return fare of £50 available for 2 people ie £12.50 per person per journey booked online

Stacy, if you're taking the Heathrow Express from Heathrow, you'll have to wait til you reach the Paddington Rail Station to get your Two-Together Railcard. If I remember correctly, that rail station ticket office is manned 24/7; so just present your filled out railcard form, pictures, £30 (or credit card) and you're all set. Marco gave you great advise regarding the Duo Deal for the Heathrow Express if you are returning to Heathrow when you fly back home.

Hope this helps,

Mary

Last May for early US arrivals there was a one person staffed booth for tickets. But I think it was only for the Tube, not sure.
Since the machines were not accepting many credit cards even for locals, it was a travel blessing.
Definitely take advantage of the RT deal for Heathrow.
