Heathrow to Windsor to London

Greetings
My husband and I are traveling with 2 teens and 4 parents. All of us have traveled before, so there's a plus. We are flying overnight from USA to Heathrow, land in the morning, and plan to spend time at Windsor before going to London to join our eventual tour. Question: do we schlep our bags (all will have carry-ons and a personal bag) to Windsor? Is there baggage check at the castle? Or what's a different option? We're planning to follow the advice on page 201 of the 21st RS Great Britain book about travel (from) to London, so don't necessarily want to go back to Heathrow for bags.

Notify your credit/debit card companies before you go and make sure everyone can shlep their own stuff. The way from the train station to the castle is slightly uphill and that’s alot of shlepping!

There’s also a Wagamama’s at the train station. It’s a great place to have a meal and recharge either upon arriving or leaving Windsor.
